This site is a plain-English guide to the Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission — OUSSSC. It exists because government recruitment news in Odisha usually arrives in two forms: dense official notifications, and viral social media forwards that are half wrong. This site sits in the middle. We read the official material and explain it the way you would explain it to a friend.
What we cover
Everything about OUSSSC: what the commission is, why it was created, which posts it recruits for, who runs it, and how the selection process works. We track the commission's milestones — the cabinet decision of November 21, 2025, the gazette notification of December 5, 2025, the chairman's appointment on March 14, 2026 — and we will cover each recruitment notification as it is announced, stage by stage.
How we work
Every fact on this site traces back to an official source: ga.odisha.gov.in, odisha.gov.in, or the commission's own notices once they exist. We do not publish "notification out" claims based on screenshots from WhatsApp groups. When something is unconfirmed, we say so plainly — like right now, with the first OUSSSC recruitment notification, which has not been announced as of October 2026.
What this site is not
This is an independent information site. It is not run by the Government of Odisha, not affiliated with OUSSSC, and not an official portal. You cannot apply for any post through this site. Applications happen only on the official portals named in government notifications. If anyone asks you for money in this site's name, that is a scam — report it to us through the contact page and to the police.
Why uniformed recruitment needed its own guide
The 2024–25 Odisha Police sub-inspector recruitment — 933 posts, exams cancelled three times, a CBI probe, 126 arrests — showed what happens when recruitment goes wrong and information goes thin. Aspirants were the biggest losers. OUSSSC was created to fix the process; this site exists to fix the information gap around it. Clear dates, real eligibility rules, honest answers about what is known and what is not.
